Uganda on Wheels foundation & Veldink4kids

Just a question of Uganda on Wheels Foundation "Can you help?" We are a small foundation that supports children with disabilities in Uganda for many years. For a year now we try to arrange to make wheelchairs for children in Uganda, by and for people with disabilities. Something very unique in Uganda.

But,the required know-how to create a good basic wheelchair is missing and the manufactured wheelchairs we make so far,  absolutely do not meet the requirements we set for a wheelchair! We as Veldink4kids carry this initiative a warm heart and it speaks to us in the core. That is why we, together with the Uganda on Wheels Foundation's see how we can help. Because we are certain to be able to help with the sharing of knowledge, and the goal is to instruct the local people and so to design a easy to build wheelchair base, which meets the requirements and can be locally produced with minimal resources.

Aligns perfectly with our motivation Everyone knows something, nobody knows anything. Together, we know quite a lot. Therefore, we find sharing so important. Knowledge, experience, inspiration.
