in the field of quality, freedom, service and development

  • It costs a child with a limitation of certain skills extra energy to search for ways to compensate and practice these.
  • A child should be free to enjoy their childhood and should be given the opportunity to act like a child. The handling and design aspects of the wheelchair must encourage the child to do activities that are in keeping with his/her experiential world and that they need to establish their place in society.
  • Children who are not yet fully grown are exposed to a significantly high risk of deformation due to a poor sitting posture.
  • Everyone must be given an opportunity for further development by exploring their own boundaries, searching for individual opportunities and/or alternatives and gaining experience. This is one of the reasons why individually adjustable sitting comfort is so important.

This is why we have developed multiple wheelchair concepts, which facilitate natural growth development through to adulthood.

    Quality assurance

Veldink aims towards providing a type of after-care that involves responding to the individual development of the user where possible This is why we keep a file for each wheelchair under the name of the user and frame number. Users and Veldink communicate about daily use and experiences via "My Veldink". This also gives rise to a continual development process.
