A wheelchair with a double hoop enables children who can use one arm to independently move themselves around. Good control of both hoops is required in order to move around and steer. It is important that the sensation in the functioning hand is sufficient and that the hand is strong enough. Our hemi-control bar is an alternative solution. All of our wheelchairs can be fitted with a double hoop. An extra push hoop can be fitted to the wheelchair wheels on the left or right hand side. This enables the user to steer and push the wheelchair with one arm.
