Our wheelchairs are fitted with our own patented drum brake system “Veltrom” as 
standard. These brakes are easy to use/access and always work. The drum brakes also function in rainy weather and even when the tyres are flat. The brake handles can be extended to the upper side of the hoop. The following additional extras can be fitted to the Veltrom braking system;
- Hand-operated carer drum brake
- Foot-operated carer drum brake
- Drum brake combination user and carer manual operation.
- Drum brake combination user hand / carer foot-operated
It goes without saying that we also supply other brake systems.
